This year's NDP is so much fun! The entire performance felt more like a concert than a parade, a lot of lightings and top hits were used. I recorded part of the parade to share, so you can get an idea of how happening the parade was! Not to forget the most awaited moment - fireworks. I had those fireworks recorded too, take a look!

Just within a day, Singapore's Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) has shoot to the highest reading of  371 at 1pm.  One glance outside my bedroom window shows nothing but haze, huge amount of haze that still carries along unpleasant thick smutty ashes smell. 

It's time to take precautions, it isn't really a good time to fall sick now.  One of the few thing to do before leaving your house is to get those shades and mask on.  It is best if you could get N95 haze protection safety mask from 3M, they have better coverage and protection from the haze.  But then again, ever since the haze broke out, the mask have been out of stock at plenty of places.  However, you could still get it through Qoo10 Singapore.

Nothing is more important than to continuously getting yourself hydrated.  I've started to double dose my intake of vitamin C everyday, making sure I consume sufficient fruits and vegetables as well.  This is a difficult period for everyone, a period filled with anger, frustrations and helplessness.  Well, the least we can do is to keep ourselves at a healthy level or else the fight against the haze is going to be a miserable process.  I now carry eye drop and nasal spray with me wherever I go because I have a really sensitive nose and these haze isn't making it any better.

What a lethargic day.
Somehow, the predictable thunder storm came in the afternoon, sending waves and waves of icy chills through my bedroom window. I sat and watch the lightning flash across the sky, a warm cup of apple cinnamon tea in hand. Time seems to crawl every time  it rains.
 
All these packing got my excitement built up inside, the enthusiasm for the trip has over taken me although its still days away. Flying away to an exotic island with the love of my life, I foresee blissful moments and a loving year ahead. Big plans, big plans. ♡

Always take some time off to find peace with your mind. That's how I enjoyed my quiet afternoon in this beautiful garden, clearing my thoughts for new plans :)

I count it as my blessing to have the boy spending his time to accompany me on a Saturday to do nothing but revisions at The Coffee Bean (Greenwich). Spend almost the entire day over there with a huge cup of warm Hazelnut Latte and a pile of notes. Well, all this is going to be worth it because we're finally celebrating Halloween tomorrow! Its always these little excitement that gives me short team insomnia.
Hopefully, tomorrow is going to be a awesome day!

After the cruise event yesterday, we had dinner at Vivo and once again we were sucked into the Diaso Store.
