This is to my mum’s dearest rice cooker; please don’t break down anymore, this is the last time I’m making a trip to the service center.

Why? Because it’s situated in Geylang and the street name alone explains all. All those stares I received from foreigners, from ah peks, and whistles from passerby and drivers who wind down their window. Poor mum had to protect me instead :(

It was a total relief when we hop onto bus 51 and wave goodbye to Geylang. Lunched @ Upper Boon Keng road hawker center, we had mutton (kambling) soup from Abdul Razack's stall. Totally childhood flashback, the last time I ate their mutton soup was 5 – 6 years back, and they still taste the same! Awesome :)

Mum was really cute because we had this amusing conversation about J, something to do with food proportion and fats.

Damn, they have really nice teh tarik too. And I was foolish enough to sip off the tea foam before taking its picture; the foam was the signature of the tea!

I totally stoned throughout the journey back home, it’s probably the sun; so freaking humid. But somehow, I wish I could melt and dissolve under the heat. Things will get better, I will feel better and the future will be brighter.

Just in love.
