Christmas has gone by in the blink of an eye. In this season of love, we learn to give and forgive.

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
- John F Kennedy

I have always been tracking down local hotels, determine to experience the best. This time round, I landed Jboy and myself @ Swissôtel The Stamford, one of Southeast Asia's tallest hotels.

Got ourselves the Swiss Executive Room and experienced exclusive check in! By exclusive, I meant lounge, confectioneries, teas and best of all - NO QUEUE

When we arrived at the lobby, we were kind of horrified by the queue, it was awfully long. It was rather confusing as we believe that exclusive check ins does not equals to lining up. Approaching one of the staff cleared our every doubts :)

We were escorted to level 60 and to my surprise, another staff was already waiting at that level and guided us to the exclusive check in area. Damn, I must say, I am impressed. We sat down throughout the entire process and I can't help but feel blissful all over again, haha!
(the only thing I found rather strange - why isn't there a level 49?)

A little treat, a little celebration, for my birthday boy
(and  I particularly love his smiling eyes)

Magnificent isn't it?
Located at level 58, this is what we get from the private balcony facing The Flyer. Singapore IS a pretty little island :)

Took a short walk to Marina Square for movie and of course, toy catching machines. Once the boy gets his eyes set on these plushies, there is no chance I can move him. Beside that, he was using those puppy eyes, pleading me to allow him some rounds of the game since it was his birthday.

Now tell me, how can I bear to reject him (sighs), he's so cute.

Some of his "trophies", which was exchanged for a BIGGER stuff later on! (Grins)

Only grumbling tummy can make him move :)
Went back to the hotel and indulge ourselves with delicious dishes  by the Club Concierge in the exclusive Swiss Executive Lounge.

TA-DAH!
Jboy exchanged those tiny toys for a huge and long Korilakkuma cushion!

Marina Bay floating platform!

Was unable to attend the Marina Bay countdown technical rehearsal & blogger chit chat session with the lighting technicians because the event clashed with Jboy's birthday :(
But either way, I am thankful for the chance given by Urban Redevelopment Authority

Even so, I am glad to be able to witness the rehearsal from up here!

You must agree with me that the views at night at far more amazing.

Surprise surprise from the brothers! Come some brotherly love!
I had a hard time hiding my communication with JS behind Jboy's back. I'm relieved it all worked out as planned.

Thank you boys for coming!

An all time favourite; Earl Grey, the best.

Just one picture, while the guys are at the gym! It's home time ;D

Those car looks like tiny Lego toys to me. Do they look the same to you?

Lunched @ Bibigo - Raffles City Shopping Centre with the J Bros.

'Hot Stone Red Chicken'
It looks like a Chinese dish - 'Sweet & Sour Pork / Gu Lu Yok' and taste like one too. It's crispy chicken tossed in Kohot sauce and garnished with toasted almond slices and chopped spring onions.

'Bulgogi Silver Noodle'
Pan-fried vernicelli noodles with bell pepper, shilitake mushroom, garlic chives, onion and topped with sliced beef! I was never a fan of onions and judging from the pictures, there's like a zillions of them. Pushing aside these onions, the noodles is delicious! it's sweet and goes damn well with the beef. YUMS.

Alright, Gonna end today's post with JS and his 'Hot Stone Char-grilled Bulgogi'
Out of all the 3 dishes, his tasted the best! We all agreed.
It's marinated beef, slow smoked over red oak wood chips before char-grilling and served with mushroom and peas!

Ciao, have a goodnight & prepare for the ultimate countdown of the year :)
