2 weeks back, I was invited to the Giftopia event by Sample Store. In case you are wondering what Giftopia is about, it is actually a movement to embrace the spirit of giving. Can you recall when was the last time you received a post card or hand written letter through snail mail? Hmm… its about 5/6 years ago for me.

You see, technology has definitely affected our mode of communication. Thus, the movement encourages you to go back to the good old days by sending postcards to someone! I was introduced to other brands at the event which makes really good gifts to mail to someone you care.

Beauty Keeper was founded to bring innovative, novel and award winning and exclusive Taiwanese beauty products to local market. Some of their interesting products that caught my attention includes Hanaka macaron facial mask and All Belle eyelashes! They were very generous with the influencer’s goodie bag as well! I will do a separate review post on their items soon.

With the mission to share happiness through their design works, Honey and Gazelle creates beautiful art prints and stationeries that makes good gifts and home displays. Do check them out if you’re a fan of modern calligraphy, you won’t be disappointed :)

Karmart is a distributor that provides cosmetic from Thailand including Cathy Doll which is endorsed by the super adorable and popular Thai actor Mario Maurer! Cathy Doll really have some good products I can’t wait to share. Another brand worth mentioning is Reunrom, and their range of hand creams. They actually sell hand creams that are mango sticky rice scented! It was the fastest selling scented hand cream as well.

This might be a beauty/health care event but mind you, if there were a hottest booth award, its definitely going to Christopher Sim (@chrispy_sim)’s stencil hand drawn tattoo. Both my plus one and I turned into 12 years olds when we spotted Chris’s booth, we knew we had to get one of those. The queue was never ending but it didn’t stop us because Chris has drawn some beautiful pieces and one in particular caught my heart.

It might have faded by now, but I’m having thoughts of getting it inked on my skin for real.

Even when a girl turns into a woman, she will always love a bouquet of flower at any time of her life. So, what better way to keep everlasting memories than a bouquet that she can treasure forever?

Paper rosettes pinned together with pearls, crystal and laces, these are definitely the kind of never dying, customised bouquet i would be very delighted to received.

Inspired by geometric shapes and symmetry set, Curious Creature sure did let curiosity get the better of them and came out with everyday accessories created with semi-precious stones, wood and brass.

Another of my favourite store, 13rushes was founded in 2013 and have since created synthetic brushes that are cruelty free. That’s not the end, they have also came out with a limited edition brush kit in support for the Breast Cancer Awareness month. 15% of the sales proceeds earned from these kits goes to the Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation!

Having been introduced to so many beautiful products, it does makes me want to send some of them to people I love and care. Thank you Sample Store for the invitation, the amazing time and goodies!
