The long awaited Saturday is finally here! An entire week of project madness almost had me losing my mind. 1 down, 3 more to go! Anyway, brought my Samsung Note over to the service centre this early morning for repair. Its been only 2 months old and the home button lost it's sensitivity already :( Looking on the bright side, its a minor issue. Moreover, I can get it back tomorrow! Speedy speedy service! What really perk my mood up is the JB trip! Met up with J after settling the phone issue and off we go to Johor for shopping!

Heroine Make lashes for the day!

Head over to Hua Mui Restaurant for some well known chicken chop! Rumors had it that the food there was so popular that even the Royal family regularly visited it for takeaways!

Situated at a colonial building, the retro floor tiles, tables and chairs seems to bring me back to the early 80's. We took a seat at the 2nd floor and I am ultra amazed by how they use pulley and tray to send food up from level 1! (where the kitchen is). This place is so popular, there are pictures of the Royal family all framed and hang up on the walls. Even engaged couples went there for wedding photo shoot! Yes, we bumped into one :)

"I'm hungry, don't make me wait" lol

Their bundung is so sweet, if I were to finish the entire cup, I'm pretty sure diabetes will look me up.

Hainanese Chicken Cutlet

Beside the peas, the cutlet indeed live up to its name, definitely one of the best! Even without the gravy and the sides, I believe I can finish the entire thing. Its really delicious!

Not sure what are the names of these 2 dishes, but they disappoint us greatly. Specially the noodle. There is still a strong taste of flour on the noodle, which signify that it probably was not cooked yet :/ If you ever come and dine here. I strongly recommend their signature Hainanese Chicken Cutlet! Yums! Our total bill sums up to RM30+ only!

Hello handsome!

Head back to City Square for shopping time! Although the building is currently still undergoing renovations, there's still quite a lot of shops in operation. Unsure what the occasion is, but there is mega sales everywhere. And when you do the currency conversion, the products are dirt cheap!

Here's some of my cheap buys of the day!

The actual colour of this pair of scalloped edge flats is French rose. Its so pretty I cannot withstand the urge of passing by it without getting my hand on them! Other available colours are: mustard, black, ivory & green. This pair of flats was stated to cost RM49. After 20% discount, I got it at RM39.20! :D You can get this at City Square's Padini Concept Store. They are having crazy sales and they sell awesome accessories!

Got this 2 belts for RM21 at the Factory Outlet Store. Nothing really special about them, beside the awfully nice shade of pink which had me attracted to it. Besides that, I could really use some spare belts. My always spoilt easily haha!

Major love this 3 shade knitted heart top and I got it at a cheap deal of RM29.90! If you finally realized, yes, all my buys have a tint of pink in them haha! Coincidentally!

J still had some change to spend before heading back to SG, so I randomly choose this since we were inside a super mart! Hopefully it will help to treat my lately rather dry skin!

Mainly, I was the one doing the crazy shopping. J was either window shopping or he just cannot find something to his liking. Thank you baby for your company and effort, I had a great time, really enjoyable :-*

Dined at Nando's for dinner before heading back.

J had Ice Chocolate while I choose... Ice Tea. Regret and keep stealing sips of his ice chocolate haha!

My Cataplana Porta!
"Done with pictures? I'm hungry!"

J ordered Espetada Rustica for himself and declare to challenge Nando's Extra Hot Peri Peri sauce and here is the result:

"Chey, like that only!"

The whole meal cost us RM81! We were well fed with these marinated chickens before heading home. We didn't have a long period of time to shop but I truly enjoyed the boy's company. There is still so many things I  wanna buy from Padini Concept Store. Have to plan a trip back soon, plus the exchange rate now is really good!

Goodnight folk! Hope your Saturday was as enjoyable as mine.
