If you are a huge fan of McDonald, you are in for a treat! From 3rd September onwards, McDonald will be launching the brand new Cereal Ebi burger , and I was fortunate to be the first few people who got to try this yummy shrimp patter burger before the launch.

Along the stretch of Mohamed Sultan Road lies Singapore’s first home concept Japanese café bar - 極品 Ippin Café Bar. Unlike any other Japanese restaurants, you will not find sashimi, sushi or yakimono here. However, you can expect a menu of homely Japanese dishes #BetterThanMom. All the way from Macau, Fu Lin Men Dou Lao is all about bringing the freshest seafood to their consumer. Although similar to Hai Di Lao, Consumers here are served in individual pot instead so that individually，one can customize the soup base and ingredients to their own liking. "豆捞" is actually a play sound of the word and actually means "都捞". Signifying each individual scooping Wealth, Fortune and Treasure, into one's own plate and consume in. They are also the first hotpot restaurant in Singapore that serves Sashimi.

I have never been to Korea, but I have patronised quite a handful of Korean restaurants in Singapore to know how exquisite and delicious Korean cuisines are. And here at Vivocity, stands one of Korea’s leading BBQ Restaurants, led by celebrity chef – Jon Won Paik.

Glad to on a long break from work, giving me ample time to continue my local café hunting. Spent my weekend brunch at Froth café; located right beside the check-in lobby of Big Hotel. Unlike majority of the cafés in Singapore, this one got to be the most spacious one. Because of the huge dining area, there is enough privacy between tables, enough space to pass through.

It all started out with two rumbling tummies and an appetite for noodles. At first glance, it seems to be another typical ramen shop. It was until I was led to my seat, handed a copy of the menu that I came to realisation that this, isn’t any ordinary ramen place.

Apparently, Kotsujiry Nabe offers not the traditional ramen, but gyoza ramen. After much instant googling on my mobile, it dawned on me that this ramen place is a branch out from gyoza specialist – Osaka Ohsho. The spicy boiled gyoza dry ramen is really おいしい (oishii)! Even though the gyozas are steamed, the gyoza skin isn’t thick or gluey. In fact, it is ultra chewy, in the most delicious way of course.

Yes, they have the usual deep fried gyoza as well, but seriously the steamed gyozas are more taste buds satisfying. The soup ramen on the other hand was decent, filling but nothing special or unforgettable.

This visually “unappealing” bowl of redness is one of their signature soup gyoza. You can pick original, miso, miso kimchi or tom yam soup base and I have with me the tom yam base. Beside the spicy dry ramen, this got to be my next favourite on the list. Anything tom yam automatically appeals to me, so this could be a bias review ha-ha! But seriously, this pot of spice and sour blended so well with the steamed gyozas and enhanced my appetite so much, I was practically gulping down the goodness. I would definitely return for this.
